Linguine and Clam Sauce Recipe

INGREDIENTS

2 cans chopped clams

2 cloves garlic, finely chopped

olive oil

1/2 cup fresh parsley, chopped

salt

black pepper

red pepper flakes

splash of white wine

1 box of linguine

TO COOK

In a medium pan saute garlic in oil (enough to cover the bottom of the pan) until lightly brown on medium heat.

Add 2 cans of clams with juice, salt, black pepper, red pepper flakes (to taste), splash of white wine and parsley and continue cooking on medium heat for 10 minutes.

While clam sauce is cooking… Cook linguine in a pot of salted boiling water for 12 minutes.

Drain pasta and add to clam sauce. Mix together well.

Top with grated Parmesan cheese.

I served it with brown rice and mixed vegetables.
